Bayt Mal Al Quds Asharif celebrated Al Quds women on the occasion of the international women day, in the presence of more than 100 women and girls from Al Quds.
During the celebration, coinciding with the Palestinian “Acchaabounyia” days marked in Chaabane, the Agency coordinator in Al Quds, Ismael Ramli, welcomed, in a speech on behalf of the Agency, the participants.
He surveyed the nature of the Agency’s work and its continuous efforts in the humanitarian and social fields, under the personal aegis of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, Chairman of Al Quds Committee.
The speech also mentioned the Agency various fields of action, especially the preservation, protection and promotion of the civilizational legacy of the city, as a human shared legacy, in addition to preserving the city’s cultural identity and its religious status, and improving the social and economic conditions of Palestinians in Al Quds.
The Agency stressed the status of women, as a partner of the Agency in achieving comprehensive human development where Al Quds women hold their true prominent status in all walks of life.
Since its creation, the Agency has been giving particular importance to Al Quds women, being aware of the heavy burden and the complex challenges they are facing in their daily life.
The Agency announced that it plans to hold the “Al Quds forum for Palestinian women and young people” around the end of next July, as a large workshop to listen to women and young people.
