Bayt Mal Al Quds Asharif Agency and Al Quds Governorate held on Tuesday at the governorate in the town of Al-Ram a ceremony to honor best students of the general secondary education, in the presence of outstanding figures from Al Quds and the relatives of the honored students.
In a speech on this occasion, the Agency’s project and project coordinator in Al Quds, Ismail Ramli, congratulated the graduates and their families noting: “honoring the best graduates from the city by Bayt Mal Al Quds Asharif Agency, under the supervision of HM King Mohammed VI –Chairman of Al Quds Committee, may God protect him, is part of the Agency’s keenness to support students from Al Quds in their education, achieve excellence and make good choices about their future.
He also pointed out to the Agency presence on the field to back the resistance of the Palestinian people and their steadfastness regarding the issue of Al Quds, praising the strategic relations binding the Agency and the department of education in Al Quds and the education projects that these relations have given rise to, such as schools and developing education in some schools facing harsh conditions.
On his part, the deputy-governor of Al Quds, Abdallah Siam, lauded the Agency’s efforts in backing the population and institutions of Al Quds and in honoring students who excel, in light of difficulties and obstacles facing education in the city.
As he took the floor, Archbishop Atallah Hanna, head of the Greek Orthodox Church in Al Quds, called the students to continue to seek knowledge, stressing while addressing the students: “you are the hope and the builders of the future. Be up to the responsibility, defend your country, your nation and your sanctities”.
On his part, Ayoub Alian, an official from the Palestinian education ministry, paid tribute to the assistance extended by the Sovereign and people of Morocco to the population of Al Quds in the cause of Al Quds and its holy sites and for their support and backing in these hard times.
The manager of Al Aqsa Mosque, Sheikh Omar Al Kissouani, also blessed this generous gesture, noting that honoring the excellent students will encourage others to continue their studies to better serve their nation and people.
At the end of the ceremony, Bayt Mal Al Quds Asharif presented the outstanding students with laptops and certificates.
