On Monday, January 22, 2024, the Bayt Mal Al-Quds Asharif Agency received the conformity certificate for quality standards “ISO,” obtained during the year 2023 in the field of donation management and procedures for financing and implementing projects in Al-Quds.
This comes after fulfilling the requirements of the International Standard Specification for international quality management standards (ISO 9001:2015).
This recognition marks the culmination of the administration’s modernization process, which began in early 2023. It involved the digitization and improvement of financial and administrative management, diversification of funding sources, and the utilization of digital platforms for project tracking. Additionally, the administration successfully managed digital and public campaigns for fundraising, all in accordance with the provisions of the Agency’s statute and its financial system.”
This achievement will enable the Bayt Mal Al-Quds Asharif Agency to enhance its image among partners, donors, and funders as an Institution that adheres to quality and transparency standards according to international criteria in management, accounting, project execution, and monitoring and evaluation.
The Agency obtained this prestigious international certificate following a comprehensive external audit. This process involved formulating a procedures guide for the quality system and conducting intensive training courses for the staff in the Agency’s financial and administrative department to equip them with the necessary knowledge of the standards and ensure strict adherence to quality measures.
The Agency looks forward to obtaining other certificates for quality standards during the next phase, especially those related to data protection, improving the services provided to donors, funders, and contributors, and enhancing the transparency standards adopted by the Agency.
