The 18th General Assembly of the Mediterranean Parliament awarded on Wednesday in Braga, Portugal, the Mediterranean Parliament’s Award of Excellence to the Bayt Mal Al-Quds Asharif Agency (BMAQ), the executive arm of the Al-Quds Committee, chaired by His Majesty King Mohammed VI.
The Award comes in recorginition of BMAQ’s invaluable contributions to humanitarian and social initiatives, aligning with the political and legal framework of the Palestinian cause.
These efforts resonate with the pioneering and consistently humanitarian role played by Moroccan diplomacy, under the leadership of HM King Mohammed VI.
This Award was presented on the sidelines of the 18th General Assembly of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Mediterranean, chaired by the President of the House of Councillors of the Kingdom of Morocco, Mr. Naeem Mayara, in his capacity as the head of this regional parliamentary organization.
The Excellence Award will be presented to the Agency during the proceedings of the second edition of the Marrakech Economic Parliamentary Forum, which will be jointly organized by the Council of Advisors and the Mediterranean Parliament on the 11th and 12th of July 2024.
