The Bayt Mal Al-Quds Asharif Agency (BMAQ), affiliated with the Al-Quds Committee and chaired by His Majesty King Mohammed VI, will launch its digital strategy for 2024-2027 next Monday in Casablanca. Themed “Digital Development in Service of Economic and Social Development in Al-Quds/Jerusalem,” the event will host startups and Palestinian businessmen from Jerusalem. This initiative underscores the Agency’s commitment to leveraging digital advancements for the socio-economic betterment of the Holy City.
On this occasion, the Agency will announce the BMAQ Innovation HUB project, an incubator for startups aimed at the youth of Jerusalem in the fields of innovation. This project will be divided into two phases, each with its own batch of participants, and will be funded annually in partnership with various sectors of the Moroccan government. Additionally, the project will receive technical and institutional support from other partners.
The Agency will also present several initiatives, including the program for protecting the cultural heritage of the Holy City through the Bayt Al-Maghreb platform in Jerusalem, the digital mental health clinic project, the remote education program in collaboration with Al-Quds University, as well as the “Dlala” E-market Platform for Social and Solidarity Trade. Additionally, it will introduce the “HAYYA” Entertainment and Educational Application Platforms aimed at children and teenagers to promote the virtues of Jerusalem.
This announcement marks a milestone in BMAQ’s journey towards digitizing its administration and obtaining its first ISO certificates for compliance with international quality standards. It also enhances the Agency’s efforts, under the direct supervision of HM King Mohammed VI, Chairman of the Al-Quds Committee, to modernize and develop its digital system. This modernization initiative is geared towards aligning with the rapid technological advancements, presenting substantial prospects for youth to acquire indispensable skills.
