Three projects by master’s students in Digital Media and Communication at Al-Quds University, along with two projects by Palestinian female entrepreneurs, will participate in the second edition of “GITEX Africa 2024″ in Marrakech, Morocco, with the support of the Bayt Mal Al-Quds Asharif Agency (BMAQ).
This edition was launched today, Tuesday, in the city of Marrakech, under the high patronage of His Majesty King Mohammed VI (May God protect him), and will continue until May 31.
Palestinian projects are competing with hundreds of other entrepreneurial ideas and companies participating in the exhibition. These projects are proposing technological solutions in various fields related to the use of artificial intelligence tools in health, agriculture, and animal husbandry, which are the main topics of this year’s edition of this global event.
During its second consecutive participation in the ‘GITEX Africa’ exhibition, the Agency set up a pavilion covering an area of 50 square meters, featuring the BMAQ Innovation Hub, showcasing the works of project holders
It is worth noting that BMAQ launched its digital strategy for the period 2024-2027 two days ago. This strategy includes, in particular, the ‘Bayt Al-Maghrib’ platform for documenting and protecting the religious and cultural heritage of Jerusalem, the ‘Bayt Al-Mal’ program for distance education, the ‘DLALA’ Marketing Platform for Social and Solidarity Trade , and an online Mental Clinic .Additionally, the strategy features the ‘HAYYA’ Applications for Entertainment and Education on the Virtues of Jerusalem, aimed at children and Teenagers.”
