During its visit to the headquarters of the Bayt Mal Al-Quds Acharif Agency (BMAQ) in Rabat today, a delegation from the Arab International Organization for Reconstruction in Palestine (Palimar) commended the significant roles undertaken by the Kingdom of Morocco, under the leadership of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, Chairman of the Al-Quds Committee, in supporting the Palestinian cause.
Zuhair Al-Omari, the Board Chairman of the Organization (Palimar) , stated during a speech delivered in the presence of Mohammed Salem Echarkaoui, the director in charge of managing the BMAQ Agency, that the steadfast roles of the Kingdom of Morocco in supporting the Palestinians are not surprising.
He added that the people of Morocco have a long-standing connection with Jerusalem, evidenced by a gate and a neighborhood in the city that bear their name.
Al-Omari praised the significant contributions of Moroccan officials within the Organization (Palimar), who are active in Europe, the UK, and the USA. Their efforts have enabled the implementation of vital projects in reconstruction, health, and education across various Palestinian regions, including the Gaza Strip.
He also expressed hope for establishing a partnership and collaboration with the BMAQ Agency to serve their shared objectives.
At the conclusion of the meeting, attended by Mohammed Jamal Bouzidi, President of the Moroccan Association for the Support of Reconstruction in Palestine, along with several heads of the Organization’ s offices in the USA, the UK, and various European and Arab countries, a check for one million Moroccan dirhams was handed over representing the fifth installment of the Moroccan Association’s contribution to the BMAQ Agency’s projects in Jerusalem.
