Al-Quds – August 24, 2024
The BMAQ Agency’s “Summer Schools” program is ongoing in Al-Quds during the final week of August. This week features heightened intelligence and focus activities as part of the “Play and Learn” sessions, which are taking place at both the Jerusalem Heritage Forum and the Ru’ya Association camp. The program is themed “Today’s Youth, Tomorrow’s Leaders.”
Over 400 children from specialized groups participated in these sessions, which featured activities such as assembling and operating small robot components, as well as precision and target games. They also gained skills in completing tests with efficiency, speed, and precision.
The children involved in these associations also received training sessions on firefighting and managing potential dangers. Additionally, they learned how to assist individuals in hazardous situations.
The Jerusalem Heritage Forum and the Ru’ya Association camp allocated a generous area for play and recreation, featuring sports games, competitions, and inflatables. This area provided participants with a chance to unwind and enjoy themselves.
The “Beautiful Schools” program in Jerusalem is ongoing this year, benefiting 4,000 children from the city. Sponsored by the Children’s Club for Al-Quds, which is affiliated with BMAQ, and funded by the Moroccan Cultural Center Association in Al-Quds, the program encompasses 17 schools and clubs throughout all city neighborhoods, including villages within the governorate.
This year’s “Summer Schools” program offered a wide variety of activities aimed at cultivating values that shape and strengthen children’s character. The program emphasized the importance of honesty, perseverance, and hard work as contributions to community development. It also highlighted the significance of respecting family values, preserving traditions and customs, and maintaining local identity.
The BMAQ Agency selected beneficiary institutions based on the safety and security measures they offer for children aged 6 to 14, ensuring a supportive environment where children can channel their energy and display their talents in sports and the arts. Professional trainers oversee over 150 workshops focused on art, drama, theatrical performances, balance games, and activities that enhance cognitive skills.
