The Palestinian Minister of Culture, Emad Hamdan, during his visit yesterday (Sunday) to the headquarters of the Bayt Mal Al-Quds Asharif Agency (BMAQ), praised the valued roles undertaken by HM King Mohammed VI, Chairman of the Al-Quds Committee, in protecting Al-Quds and preserving its cultural heritage.
During a working session with Mohamed Salem Echarkaoui, the Director in charge of the BMAQ Agency, attended by the Palestinian Ambassador to Morocco, Jamal Al Shobaki, Hamdan expressed his hope for intensified efforts to preserve the Palestinian narrative and safeguard the Arab and Islamic identity of the Holy City.
The Palestinian official expressed the Ministry of Culture’s readiness to explore all avenues for collaboration and partnership with the BMAQ Agency in areas of shared interest, while commending the Agency’s active presence and initiatives in Al-Quds.
The Palestinian minister visited the permanent exhibition of the Al-Quds Committee at the Agency’s headquarters in Rabat, where he was briefed on the Moroccan Cultural Center in Al-Quds and gained insights into the Agency’s initiatives and programs aimed at supporting key cultural activities and institutions in the city.
