The Bayt Mal Al-Quds Asharif Agency (BMAQ) , under the auspices of the Al-Quds Committee and headed by His Majesty King Mohammed VI, presented today its digital strategy axes for 2024-2027 at the “Expand North Star” exhibition in Dubai. The strategy also encompasses an incubator for projects aimed at Palestinian youth in Al-Quds, focusing on renewal and innovation. This event was attended by the Minister of Digital Transition and Administrative Reform of the Kingdom of Morocco, Ms. Ghita Mezour.
As part of the second cohort of its Palestinian startup incubator program, the Agency is supporting five young entrepreneurs from Al-Quds who presented their project ideas. These ideas span several fields, including automated information systems for competitiveness in e-commerce, an AI-powered lending platform, an innovative transportation system platform, a medical device designed to improve the safety and efficiency of sternum bone cutting,
On this occasion, Ms. Ghita Mezzour, expressed her appreciation for the initiatives launched by the BMAQ Agency, under the wise leadership of HM King Mohammed VI, Chiarman of the Al-Quds Committee, in all social sectors. She particularly commended the Agency’s support for emerging Palestinian enterprises, whose founders have presented innovative and impactful ideas in the fields of technology and innovation.

The BMAQ Innovation Hub provides beneficiaries, who are selected based on specific criteria set by a special committee that includes experts and institutional representatives, with an intensive incubation program. This program includes 190 hours of interactive lessons over a period of five months, focusing on entrepreneurial support and refining advocacy tools for their projects, while fostering confidence and stability. Additionally, beneficiaries are offered opportunities to access finance and investment markets, which could be made available through their participation in international exhibitions such as the renowned “GITEX” exhibitions.
It is important to highlight that the group of emerging Palestinian enterprises taking part in the Dubai 2024 exhibition represents the second cohort sponsored by the Agency through the BMAQ Innovation Hub. This initiative builds on the success of the first cohort, which showcased their innovations at the “GITEX Africa” exhibition in Marrakech last July.
The meeting organized by the Agency as part of its participation in the exhibition was attended by several distinguished guests, including the Consul General of the Kingdom of Morocco in Dubai, Saad Bendoro, the Palestinian Consul, Muhammad As’ad, and a number of other invitees.
