Today, a delegation from the National Popular Conference for Jerusalem (NPCJ) , led by Major General Bilal Al-Natsheh, held a work session at the headquarters of the Bayt Mal Al-Quds Asharif Agency (BMAQ) in Rabat. The session was attended notably by Hatem Abdul Qader, Secretary-General of the Islamic-Christian Commission for the Support of Jerusalem and Holy Sites, as part of the delegation’s visit to the Kingdom of Morocco from October 21 to 28.
Upon arriving at the Agency’s headquarters, the delegation toured the permanent exhibition
spaces of the Al-Quds Committee, which feature artifacts, photographs, and documents chronicling the key milestones of the Committee, affiliated with the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) , during the reign of the late King Hassan II, may he rest in peace, and continuing under the prosperous reign of HM King Mohammed VI, may God protect him..
At the beginning of the work session, the Director in charge of running BMAQ , Mohamed Salem Echerkaoui, welcomed the Palestinian delegation, expressing his appreciation for the visit, which comes at a challenging time and reflects the commitment of the Al-Quds Committee, chaired by HM King Mohammed VI, to supporting the Palestinian cause under all circumstances.
Mr. Echarkaoui emphasized BMAQ’s active involvement in the initiatives led by H M King Mohammed VI to support Palestinian brothers in both Jerusalem and Gaza, assisting them in overcoming the challenges they encounter in their daily lives.
In this regard, Echarkaoui highlighted the projects and programs that the Agency has implemented in Jerusalem under the direct supervision of His Majesty, in sectors such as health, education, restoration and construction, social assistance, human development, youth, sports, women and children, and digital technologies, among other programs.
For their part, members of the Palestinian delegation praised Morocco’s continuous support, led by HM King Mohammed VI, Chairman of the Al-Quds Committee, for the Palestinian cause and for the protection of Jerusalem.
During his speech at the session, Major General Bilal Al-Natsheh, , highlighted the substantial support provided by HM King Mohammed VI for Jerusalem, its inhabitants, and its institutions.
He pointed out that this brotherly support underscores the profound historical relationship between the Palestinian and Moroccan peoples, a bond that will endure indefinitely.
In turn , Hatem Abdul Qader, Secretary-General of the Islamic-Christian Commission for the Support of Jerusalem and Holy Sites, stressed that “Morocco, under the leadership of HM King Mohammed VI, Chairman of the Al-Quds Committee, has placed the Palestinian cause on par with Morocco’s territorial integrity, which demonstrates the high-level commitment to this cause.” He called on Arab and Islamic countries to emulate Morocco’s example in providing support and solidarity.
Abdul Qader also called on the Arab and Islamic nations for a serious mobilization to save Jerusalem, stating that “this call may be the last.”
He commended Morocco’s financial backing of the BMAQ Agency and praised HM King Mohammed VI’s directives to maintain support , despite the difficulties the city endures as a result of the occupation’s policies.
It is noteworthy that the Palestinian delegation’s visit to the Kingdom of Morocco will continue until October 28, featuring various official and public events planned in Tangier, Tetouan, Rabat, and Casablanca.
