Mr. Shihabuddin Bin Adam Shah, Malaysia’s Ambassador to the Kingdom of Morocco, praised today in Rabat the esteemed role of HM King Mohammed VI, Chairman of the Al-Quds Committee, in supporting the Palestinian cause and Jerusalem.
During his visit to the headquarters of the Bayt Mal Al-Quds Asharif Agency (BMAQ), the ambassador emphasized the Kingdom of Morocco’s pivotal role in supporting a wide range of projects and initiatives undertaken by the Agency, benefiting Palestinians at large and, more specifically, the residents of Jerusalem.
He expressed his appreciation for the Agency’s efforts under the direct supervision of HM King Mohammed VI, lauding its regular reports detailing its accomplishments and its adherence to transparency in funding projects and transferring funds to their rightful beneficiaries.
The ambassador expressed his keen interest in gaining deeper insight into the Agency’s future strategy for supporting the residents of Jerusalem and the Gaza Strip. He emphasized the importance of fostering collaboration to achieve shared objectives, particularly in advancing social assistance initiatives for the Palestinian people.
During the meeting, Mohammed Salem Echarkaoui, the director in charge of managing BMAQ , provided a comprehensive overview of the Agency’s accomplishments in Jerusalem.
He also shed light on the pressing challenges confronting the city, particularly in the context of the region’s rapidly changing dynamics.
