His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God protect him, Chairman of the Al-Quds Committee, reaffirmed that Morocco’s efforts and endeavors in support of the Palestinian cause represent a “sincere and ongoing commitment backed by tangible field actions.”
In a message addressed today, Tuesday, to Sheikh Niang, Chairman of the Committee on the Exercise of the Inalienable Rights of the Palestinian People, on the occasion of the International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People, commemorated this year on November 26, His Majesty reaffirmed that “the Kingdom’s unwavering commitment to defending the holy city of Jerusalem through sustained political and diplomatic action.”
In this regard, His Majesty underscored that the Bayt Mal Al-Quds Asharif Agency (BMAQ), serving as the operational and practical arm of the Al-Quds Committee, remains steadfast in its commitment to executing tangible plans and initiatives. These efforts are focused on safeguarding the cultural heritage of the Holy City, enhancing the social and economic well-being of its inhabitants, and strengthening their resilience.
Simultaneously, and in light of the humanitarian catastrophe in Gaza, His Majesty highlighted that he had ordered the dispatch of urgent humanitarian and medical aid to the region on three separate occasions.
He underscored that these efforts included securing unprecedented access routes for the delivery of aid, which carried special significance as they provided burn treatment equipment, emergency surgical supplies, and essential medicines.
This initiative comes at a time when Gaza’s healthcare sector is on the brink of collapse due to severe shortages of medical supplies and drugs.
