On the sidelines of the 15th session of the Islamic Summit, the BMAQ Agency affiliated with the Al-Quds Committee under the Chairmanship of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, inaugurated Palestinian-origin product exhibitions today, May 2, 2024, in Banjul, the capital of the Republic of The Gambia.
Among the exhibitions organized by the Agency, a special exhibition is included to display local products, handicrafts, jewelry, and embroideries reflecting the rich Jerusalemite and Palestinian identity.
This exhibition is being held in conjunction with the “Investment Days Forum” organized by the Islamic Center for Trade Development, an affiliate of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, on May 2 and 3. Concurrently, another exhibition titled “The Olive Tree: A Symbol of Peace” highlights derivatives from olive trees.
Meanwhile, on the sidelines of the Summit, which will run until May 5, the Agency is presenting its accomplishments in Jerusalem through photographs showcasing its programs, projects, as well as its humanitarian and social initiatives in the Holy City. Additionally, samples of products from associations and institutions funded under the BMAQ Agency’s “Civil Initiatives for Human Development” program are being exhibited.
Additionally, photos from the archives of previous sessions of the Al-Quds Committee are on display, and reports detailing the Agency’s accomplishments throughout 2023. Furthermore, reports on the outcome of the Agency’s Silver Jubilee celebration, held under the auspices of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, have been distributed. Moreover, a visual report highlighting the humanitarian aid operation ordered by His Majesty, may God protect him, for Palestinians in Jerusalem and Gaza during the previous Ramadan month is being presented.
