Al-Quds – May 14, 2024
The headquarters of the “Arab Association for Persons with Disabilities” in Jerusalem hosted on Tuesday the first bazaar for handicrafts products for people with disabilities under the slogan: “Talented Without Limits”, sponsored by the Bay Mal Al-Quds Asharif Agency (BMAQ), the executive arm of the Al-Quds Committee, under the chairmanship of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, King of Morocco, may God protect him.
The organization of this exhibition is part of the agreement through which BMAQ signed with supported and accompanied the social empowerment project for people with disabilities in Jerusalem.
This is accomplished through a range of specialized workshops in vocational training and the enhancement of productive skills, tailored to the capabilities and competencies of this group.
Additionally, the bazaar included a display of products for able-bodied individuals coming families who have children with disabilities to enhance their integration into joint activities in all fields.
BMAQ’s involvement in this aligns with the royal directives of HM King Mohammed VI, aiming to support all sectors of Jerusalemite society, with particular emphasis on this specific segment.
This commitment is in line with the outcomes of the third annual forum for people with disabilities, organized by the Agency on April 27 of the previous year, under the theme: ‘Enhancing Quality of Life: A Collective Responsibility.’
