The Bayt Mal Al-Quds Acharif Agency (BMAQ) affiliated to Al-Quds Committee, emanating from the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC);
By virtue of to chapter 3, article 16 of the statute of BMAQ Agency which determines the financing sources enabling to achieve its objectives;
Pursuant to the decisions of the Islamic summits, and the conferences of foreign ministers of OIC regarding the call to support the BMAQ Agency and facilitate its mission with the aim of mobilizing all financial capabilities to implement its projects in Al-Quds Al-Sharif city;
And according to the recommendations of the 20th session of Al-Quds Committee, which was held in Marrakech – Kingdom of Morocco on January 17-18, 2014.
Given that the Agency has proven, for more than 20 years, that it remains the appropriate organism for coordinating Arab and Muslim support for Al-Quds, and incarnates this presence through its record and its achievements in the social sectors including housing, health, education, culture, social aid and human development projects.
The Agency Appeals to OIC Member Countries and affiliated organizations to contribute to the financing of its action plan for the year 2022 in order to enable it to:
- Keep going its mission to protect the city of Al-Quds and preserve its civilizational heritage and support its population;
- Contribute to limiting the effects of the COVID 19 pandemic on the social situation of a large category of the population of Al-Quds;
- Meet the rising needs of the Maqdissi population, particularly in the sectors of trade and tourism following the declining of living conditions in the city.
